Fujitsu Arrow ES IS12F Ponsel Tertipis di Dunia

Smartphone yang diklaim paling tipis di dunia menampakkan wujudnya di ajang Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 di Las Vegas, AS. Adalah Fujitsu yang berada di balik ponsel bernama Arrow ES IS12F tersebut.

Bodinya yang langsing hanya memiliki ketebalan 6,7 mm. Ia berjalan di atas sistem operasi Android 2.3 Gingerbread dan dipacu dengan kekuatan prosesor 1.4 Ghz single core Qualcomm.

Berbobot tak lebih dari 105 gram, piranti ini telah dilengkapi dengan layar Corning Gorilla Glass untuk melindungi display AMOLED WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) yang selebar 4 inch dari goresan.

Arrow ES IS12F memiliki kamera 5 megapixel dan handset ini juga telah dibuat tahan air. Di ajang CES diberitakan bahwa untuk meyakinkan publik, Fujitsu sengaja merendam ponsel tersebut di dalam air.

Belum ada informasi lebih lanjut kapan ia akan dirilis di pasar yang lebih luas, karena awalnya baru tersedia di Jepang. Namun ia akan segera menyambangi wilayah Amerika Serikat dan Eropa.



Arrow ES IS12F memang layak dijuluki ponsel tertipis. Pasalnya ponsel lain yang dikenal langsing seperti Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc dan iPhone 4S masih lebih tebal dibandingkan Arrow ES IS12F. Xperia Arc sendiri memiliki ketebalan 8,7 mm, sedangkan iPhone 4S berada di ukuran 9,3 mm.

Bertempat di panggung Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 di Las Vegas, AS, Nokia memperkenalkan ponsel andalannya yang dibundel dengan operator AT&T tersebut.

Dari segi tampilan, Lumia 900 memiliki lebar layar 4,3 inch clearblack Amoled display. Warna yang ditawarkan hanya dua, hitam dan cyan yang kebiru-biruan.

Sama seperti 'saudaranya' -- Lumia 800, 710, dan N9 -- Lumia 900 juga dibungkus dengan bahan polycarbonate sehingga diklam mantap digenggam dan elegan kala dipandang.

Dari sisi dapur pacu, perangkat ini terlihat cukup menjanjikan lantaran dibenamkan dengan prosesor berkekuatan 1,4 GHz, konektivitas 4G LTE, baterai 1830 mAh, internal storage 16 GB, serta 512MB RAM.

Kamera berkemampuan 8 megapixel melengkapi fitur dari ponsel yang belum diungkap harganya itu. Nah, kamera ini pun disebutkan bukan kamera sembarangan, lantaran sudah menggunakan lensa carl zeiss 28mm f/2.2 di bagian belakang dan f/2.4 wide-angle untuk bagian depan.

Belum disebutkan kapan tanggal pasti perangkat ini akan dirilis ke pasaran. Yang pasti, dalam keterangan resminya, vendor asal Finlandia itu menyebut bahwa pasar seluler di AS akan menjadi yang pertama mencicipinya di bawah bendera operator AT&T.

Las Vegas, AS - HTC unjuk gigi di ajang pameran teknologi terbesar dunia, Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2012. Mereka memamerkan smartphone terbarunya yang terbilang 'buas' di sektor kamera, HTC Titan II.

Ya, fitur paling menonjol yang diusungnya adalah kamera 16 megapixel, mampu menghasilkan foto resolusi 4.640 x 3.840 . Jika dihitung, masih sangat langka vendor ponsel yang punya lini produk dengan kamera beresolusi sama.

Desain

Di samping layar sentuh cukup lega, Optimus Pro menyediakan keyboard full qwerty. Bukan qwerty gaya slider melainkan menyatu dengan layar, sebuah tren yang barangkali diawali oleh Motorola Charm.

Layar sentuh di Optimus Pro berukuran 2,8 inch dengan keyboard qwerty fisik tepat di bawahnya. Terdapat pula empat buah tombol navigasi. Di sekeliling bodi, terdapat port usb, tombol on/off, colokan headset standar, serta tombol volume.

Sayangnya tidak ada tombol kamera terdedikasi sehingga pengguna harus puas menjepret dengan tombol virtual. Di bagian belakang terdapat kamera bertuliskan resolusi 3 megapixel tanpa lampu flash dan speaker kecil.

LG Optimus Pro

Optimus Pro yang terbuat dominan dari plastik cukup ergonomis dan nyaman dalam genggaman, dengan sudut-sudut melengkung. Tombol keyboardnya berukuran kecil sehingga mungkin kurang nyaman bagi yang ukuran jarinya besar. Keyboard ini juga cukup keras ditekan.

Performa

Layar 2,8 inch di LG Optimus Pro beresolusi 240x320. Tampilan obyek terasa kasar meski masih relatif nyaman dilihat. Operasional layar sentuh bisa dikatakan reponsif, menanggapi dengan cepat perintah yang diberikan melalui sentuhan jari.

Layar Optimus Pro yang memakai user interface Optimus UI ala LG memiliki 5 buah homescreen. Seperti biasa, user dapat menambakan ikon menu favoritnya dengan mudah di homescreen ini.

LG Optimus Pro

Keberadaan keyboard fisik qwerty bisa diandalkan pengguna untuk beragam fungsi. Misalnya untuk menulis pesan dalam posisi layar portrait, tampilan layar lebih besar karena user tidak membutuhkan keyboard virtual. Jika user memilih posisi horizontal, keyboard virtual otomatis akan muncul.

Menu aplikasi di handset ini dapat diakses dengan geseran ke bawah. Seperti biasa, aplikasi dari Google tersaji lengkap dan user dapat mendwonload banyak aplikasi tambahan dari Android Market.

Prosesor 800MHz diandalkan Optimus Pro. Tidak cukup istimewa karena rata-rata Android kelas menengah memakai prosesor yang sama. Sedangkan RAM hanya 256 MB. Performanya bisa dipertanggungjawabkan meski agak keteteran jika menjalankan banyak aplikasi sekaligus.


Konektivitas dan Kamera

Browser Optimus Pro cukup menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik dengan kekurangan di sana sini. Resolusi layar yang rendah membuat tampilan website kadang kurang bagus. Perlu dicatat pula bahwa browser tidak mendukung Adobe Flash.

Seperti layaknya ponsel Android lainnya, Optimus Pro dibekali konektivitas lengkap. Seperti HSDPA 3.6Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth dan GPS.


Beralih ke sektor kamera yang beresolusi 3 megapixel. Kualitas gambar biasa saja, kadang tak mendetail dan presentasi warna kurang akurat. Pengaturannya juga standar. Perekam video standar berjalan dengan resolusi 640x480 VGA 24fps.

Speaker untuk pemutar musik menyajikan suara yang nendang meski volumenya tidak cukup kuat. Di sektor pemutaran video, handset ini telah mendukung MPEG-4/DivX/Xvid.

LG membenamkan baterai berkekuatan 1.500mAh di ponsel ini. Bisa bertahan kurang lebih satu setengah hari dalam permakaian normal.

Kesimpulan

Optimus Pro memang tidak menyajikan keistimewaan tertentu. Layarnya kurang jernih dan kualitas kamera biasa saja. Namun performanya sesuai dengan harganya yang terjangkau pun desainnya unik. Layar sentuhnya cukup besar dan responsif, serta dilengkapi pula dengan keyboard fisik yang fungsional. Handset ini dapat ditebus pada kisaran harga Rp 1,7 juta.

BlackBerry terbaru, Bold 9790 & Curve 9380

BlackBerry Research In Motion (RIM) memilih Indonesia sebagai negara pertama yang bisa mencicipi 2 seri BlackBerry terbaru, Bold 9790 dan Curve 9380. Apa saja yang diandalkan kedua ponsel tersebut?

Sama seperti seri sebelumnya, Dakota, Bold 9790 alias Bellagio hadir dengan perpaduan layar sentuh dan keyboard qwerty. Ponsel ini juga diperkuat dengan BlackBerry OS 7 dan memori internal sebesar 8 GB.

Kemudian untuk Curve 9380, mungkin ini adalah jajaran pertama seri Curve yang sudah menggunakan layar sentuh tanpa keyboard, alias full touch screen. Ponsel ini mengedepankan layar 3,2 inch yang responsif serta kamera sebesar 5 MP.

Selain itu kedua BlackBerry tersebut juga ditambahkan kemampuan Argumented Reality dan NFC. Jadi diharapkan produk ini akan menjadi primadona di Indonesia sebagai salah satu pengguna BlackBerry terbesar di dunia.

Android Murah Samsung Galaxy Y

Handphone Android berharga murah, Galaxy Y.

Y sendiri adalah kependekan dari Young atau muda. Jelas pasar utama dari handset ini adalah kalangan anak muda atau pengguna Android pemula yang ingin merasakan seperti apa OS 'robot hijau' ini.
Meski berharga relatif terjangkau, Samsung Galaxy Y sudah dibekali dengan prosesor 800Mhz serta OS Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Mari kita simak lebih lanjut seperti apa kemampuan ponsel ini.

Ukuran Mungil

Galaxy Y wujudnya memang mungil. Berukuran 104 x 58 x 11.5 mm dengan berat tidak mencapai 100 gram, ia tidak terlihat bongsor dan termasuk smartphone ringan dan praktis digunakan.
Terlihat hanya ada 3 tombol di bagian bawah layar yakni tombol multitasking, home dan back (urut dari kiri ke kanan). Tombol-tombol tersebut bersifat ‘touch sensitive’ sehingga tak perlu menekan keras untuk mengoperasikannya.

Bahan pembuatan Galaxy Y dari plastik dengan aksen silver di bagian pinggir. Bagian belakang berupa plastik dengan semacam tekstur untuk memudahkan pegangan. Sayangnya, ponsel ini tidak dibekali dengan tombol khusus kamera.Secara umum, desain Galaxy Y memang terlihat biasa-biasa saja meski masih bisa menghindari kesan murahan. Cukup wajar memang mengingat harganya yang sangat terjangkau untuk ukuran smartphone.

Layar Kurang Jernih

Galaxy Y memiliki bentang layar 3 inch TFT kapasitif beresolusi 240x320 pixel. Layar ini memang tampak seadanya dan kurang jernih. Barangkali ini adalah salah satu bentuk kompromi agar harganya bisa tetap terjangkau.

Layaknya saudara-saudara terdahulunya, Galaxy muda ini pun dilengkapi TouchWiz UI. Urusan akses internet, ponsel ini tergolong tangguh, sama seperti handset Android lainnya. Ia juga memiliki kemampuan akses data setingkat HSDPA dan HSUPA. Yang menarik, Galaxy Y tidak terlalu panas saat digunakan untuk thetering berjam-jam.

Kamera 2 megapixel yang dimiliki Samsung Galaxy Y nampaknya terkesan nanggung, dimana vendor lain sudah banyak yang bermain di 3.2 megapixel keatas, bahkan 5MP di kisaran harga relatif sama. Bisa ditebak, hasil pemotretan pun biasa saja.

Android mungil yang juga medukung Java MIDP ini memiliki fitur penjajak lokasi alias GPS dengan fungsi A-GPS juga, sehingga anda tak perlu khawatir kesasar jika jalan-jalan ke daerah yang belum dikenal.

Sebagai alat pengusir suntuk, disediakan media player berupa MP 3 player yang baik kualitas suaranya. Output dari speaker cukup bagus dan seperti biasa perlu menggunakan earphone untuk mendengar kualitas suara yang sesungguhnya. Galaxy Y juga bisa merekam video QVGA@15fps.

Jika merasa bosan, masih ada FM Radio yang akan menemani kita bersantai. Jangan lupa harus memasang earphone kalau ingin mendengar siaran radionya.

Ponsel ini dibekali baterai berkekuatan 1200 mAh Li-Ion. Dengan kapasitas itu, nampaknya cukup pas untuk menopang seluruh aktifitas yang akan dikerjakannya termasuk multitasking dan multimedia.
Kesimpulan:
Jika boleh digambarkan dengan satu kalimat, Galaxy Y merupakan ponsel kecil cabe rawit yang harganya murah serta fungsional. Kemampuannya cukup bisa diandalkan meski pengguna harus rela kompromi dengan berbagai pengurangan di sana sini. Ponsel ini memang hanya dibanderol Rp 1,2 Juta. Sepertinya cocok untuk anak muda dan mereka yang ingin berhemat.
